Artist Rise Up: Embrace Your Calling, Release God’s GlorySample

Your creativity is not just a hobby—it’s holy. When you create with the Holy Spirit, your art becomes more than a product. It becomes a conduit for God’s presence.
In Exodus 31:3–5, Bezalel was chosen and filled with the Spirit of God, skilled in every craft, to create beauty for the glory of God. This wasn’t “just art”—it was worship. Design. Architecture. Embodiment of Heaven’s pattern.
Psalm 22:3 reminds us that God inhabits the praises of His people. That includes the kind of praise that flows through paint, clay, melody, movement, and words. When you create from intimacy with God, your studio becomes a sanctuary, and your art a table where others encounter Him.
Paul wrote, “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). That means every stroke of the brush, every note of the song, every woven fiber can carry the fragrance of Heaven.
You may never know who will encounter God because of what you made—but He does. He wants to move through your hands. You are His vessel. Your art is His invitation.
Reflection Prompt:
When was the last time you invited the Holy Spirit into your creative process? Try it today—pray before you begin creating, ask Him to speak, and notice what shifts as you work.
