Go Into All the WorldSample

The Power of a Willing Heart
Sometimes we wait for the “big moment” to serve God, thinking it has to be dramatic or visible. But what if the small yes is where it all starts?
Philip wasn’t one of the twelve disciples. He didn’t write any letters in the Bible or lead thousands in mass revivals. But what he did have was a willing heart, and that was more than enough.
We first meet Philip in Acts 6, where he’s chosen to help distribute food to widows. It’s practical, behind-the-scenes work, and he does it with excellence. Why? Because he was “full of the Spirit and wisdom” (Acts 6:3). Faithfulness in small things opened the door to greater things.
When persecution scattered the believers, Philip didn’t shrink back. He ended up in Samaria, an area many Jews avoided, and began preaching there. Miracles happened, people were healed, joy filled the city. All because Philip didn’t wait for a spotlight; he just followed the Spirit.
This is a powerful reminder that you don’t need a title or a platform to be used by God. Every act of obedience matters. God sees the one who stacks chairs, prays in secret, or reaches out to a neighbour with kindness. And he uses it all.
Today, ask God to show you where He’s inviting you to say “yes”, even if it feels small or unseen. Your obedience could be the start of someone else’s breakthrough.

About this Plan

Go Into All the World is a bold invitation for every believer to live Spirit-empowered and on mission. Through the stories of Philip, Barnabas, Timothy, Lydia, and others in Acts, we’ll discover that evangelism isn’t just for the few; it’s for all of us. God has given us the grace and power to share Jesus with our world, and now it’s our turn to say yes!
