Go Into All the WorldSample

Don’t Let Fear Stop You
Have you ever felt like you weren’t ready? Too young, too quiet, too unsure? You’re not alone, and you’re not disqualified.
Timothy was young when Paul invited him on a missionary journey. He had a mixed background, a quiet nature, and probably some big insecurities. But what he had mattered more: a sincere heart and a willingness to follow Jesus.
In Acts 16, we see Timothy stepping into leadership. He didn’t start as a bold preacher, he simply said yes to the call. Paul saw something in him and began to disciple him. Over time, Timothy grew into a trusted leader, eventually helping oversee the church in Ephesus, one of the most influential churches of the early movement.
Paul reminded him, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers”. Timothy didn’t let fear stop him. He let his character speak louder than his age or personality.
God isn’t looking for perfect people. He’s looking for willing ones. You might feel unqualified, but if God has called you, he will equip you. You don’t have to have it all together, you just have to keep showing up, trusting him step by step.
Ask God to help you overcome fear and insecurity today. Write down one area where you feel unsure, and surrender it to him. Let him remind you of who you are and what he has placed inside you.
