Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for Kids

DÍA 16 DE 20

Trial

Jesus was standing before the governor. He was not there to prove Himself, He was not trying to convince the Pilate and the crowd that He was innocent or that He was the savior. He accepted what they called Him.

A notorious criminal known as Barabbas was brought before the leading priest. The other leaders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas to be released and for Jesus to be put to death. Then Pilate asked what crime Jesus committed but they could not mention any. They were just shouting ‘Crucify Him’. Jesus accepted the false accusation for the will of God to be fulfilled. He became a sinner for His love for the world and so that we would be free from sin.

We must not bear false accusations like the crowd. When we are falsely accused, we should trust in God.

Memory verse

When he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he did not answer. Matt 27:12
