Scripture tells us that praise and worship are part of being a believer. We’re called to exalt God’s name and worship Him for all that He’s done for us. We’re not obligated to this call, but rather, it’s an overflowing response to God who loves us. When God’s faithfulness shows up in our lives, the only thing we can do to adequately respond is to praise Him for it. We’re not always praising God for our circumstances, or our feelings, or our answered prayers, or even our victorious outcomes. Sometimes, those things reflect God’s faithfulness, but other times, they don’t look the way we thought they would. In either situation, God is still faithful.
Today, spend time in praise and worship to God. Listen to worship music, journal prayers of thanksgiving, or express your praise in a way that fits your heart.

About this Plan

As humans, we all wonder what God is really like? Is God kind, loving, powerful, attentive, loyal? Is God distant, unfair, harsh, judgmental, or absent? In other words, we’re asking: what can we be sure is always true about who God is? In this devotional, we’ll look to Scripture to explore those questions and ground the answers in unshakeable, unchangeable truth, uncovering more about who God is and why we can trust Him not just now, but always.
