Have you ever walked through a season where God felt distant? No matter how hard you prayed, how much you sought the Lord for answers, how much you showed up at church to seek Him, how many times you opened your Bible just begging for a verse to speak to you, you were met with what felt like little more than silence. The reality is, we’ve all probably felt this way before. In our struggles and pain, it’s natural to want God to respond in a real, straightforward way. It’s normal to hope He’d give us even the tiniest glimpse that He is with us. That’s when the words of the psalmist here can help.
No matter how far we feel from God in our missteps and mess-ups, and no matter how distant it seems God is in our struggles and setbacks, we can rest assured that we have the miracle of His Spirit present with us all the time. Because of that, there’s no distance we can put between Him and us. And that means, even when we struggle to see it or feel it, we can rest on the promise that God is still with us. This week, spend time in prayer, asking God to remind you of His Spirit's presence in this season.

The story of Easter really is the story of a miracle. A miracle preceded by many others that all ultimately point us to one thing: the truth of who God is, how God loves us, and the way God is working on our behalf. In this devotional, we’ll look at three major miracles recorded in the gospel of John. As we do, we’ll see that these miracles were all pointing us toward something greater. We’ll see the reveal of the greatest miracle of all: the resurrection of Jesus.
