GO2020 | ENGAGE: June Week 4 - ABIDEExemplo
June 25—Suffering
Read
Romans 8:15-18
Reflect
There is so much about the future we do not know or understand. Today’s passage assures us, however, that as God’s adopted sons and daughters we need not be afraid, even when sufferings and trials overtake us. We have the privilege to cry out “Abba! Father!” and we are assured that the Holy Spirit is at work in us, confirming that God is our Father and we are God’s children. Even if we suffer, it is nothing compared to the glory that he will reveal to us. This is great comfort that we hold on to and share with those who may be perplexed with downturns in their personal lives in Christ.
Engage
Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions:
· What does it say about God?
· What does it say about us?
· Is there a promise to trust?
· Is there a command to obey?
· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?
· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?
Memorize
Now read this week’s memory verse, Revelation 7:9. Spend a few minutes working to memorize it.

Sobre este plano
As members of the body of Christ, we are called to finish the race set before us, filled with joy and love, as we give witness to the power of the gospel that changes our lives. God’s kingdom embraces differences that the world sets up as barriers to Christian unity. Especially in these times, it is important for all believers to understand the oneness we have in Christ.
