Walking with God in BusinessExemplo
Integrity has been defined as: "with various parts or aspects linked or coordinated" and "the condition of being unified, unimpaired, or sound in construction." It's something we have to have with God, and which He desires us to display in business. The opposite, of course, is hypocrisy.
When we feel or do something, it's because of something we believe. Our beliefs are exposed by our emotions and behavior, so take note of these! They are not the same as the information in our heads or the creeds we espouse. Our actual beliefs are typically imparted to us by our culture, our family, and sometimes are even things we are born believing. In fact, many times, our actual beliefs are not aligned with our espoused beliefs at all!
Often, this is obvious to others and not-so-obvious to us. Partly, this is because our brain works "from back to front." Our subconscious mind translates data we collect from our five senses before it is processed by our conscious mind, filtering this raw data through the filter of our actual beliefs (not our espoused beliefs). Reality that is not in line with our actual beliefs is often dismissed or translated by our subconscious, before it ever even gets to our conscious mind.
The cure to our blindness, though, isn't necessarily information and greater self-awareness, though we need these, but to align ourselves with Jesus. Jesus sees perfectly. Jesus is integrity. He is who He says He is and He does what He says He'll do! Every. Time. Without Jesus, our self-awareness easily morphs into self-consciousness, and information into pride. Jesus alone can help us see God, ourselves, and the world around us.
Here are some questions:
1. What are some times when you've manifested a "deeper habit of belief"?
2. What is God inviting you to see? (This can be positive or negative.)
