The Gospels – Messiah

Dia 13 de 15

If you live in a country with a royal family, you will know who the king or queen is. In Britain, there have been over 66 monarchs spread over the past 1500 years.

If you’re a citizen in a commonwealth country, you’re part of King Charles’ kingdom. If you’re part of God’s Kingdom, you’re also a citizen of His Kingdom. The Kingdom of Heaven!

You don’t have to be born in a certain country to be a citizen of God’s Kingdom; we’re born again through accepting Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. In the Gospel of John, we read about Jesus talking with a man named Nicodemus. Jesus explained how being born again means we can be part of God’s Kingdom.

No earthly king or queen has reigned over all nations, all places, and all people groups, but God’s Kingdom is above them all. Jesus is the King of kings, ruler over all. No earthly king has ever come back to life, and no earthly king has returned to rule again. God’s Word promises that Jesus, our King of kings, will one day return.

The book of Revelation talks about Jesus one day coming back to earth. The Bible describes Jesus as the greatest King, the most powerful Lord of all.

Jesus the Messiah is our King, the greatest King of all.
