Seeing the Wonderful

This day belongs to the Lord!
Let’s celebrate and be glad today.
Psalm 118:24 (CEV)

Yay! It’s a new day! What is exciting, awesome, wonderful about today? Bet you can think of a million things.

Even on our hardest days, when we can’t be with friends or someone we love is sick, or on just blah days, when it’s too hot and nothing is happening, we can clearly see the great things God is doing for us. There is still reason to celebrate!

The dandelion is blooming. The mockingbird sings a concert. The clouds puff into monsters, castles, and animal shapes. The delicious smell of something baking in the oven fills the house.

All these wonderful things remind us of how much God loves us. And best of all, God sent his Son Jesus to be with us and save us from our sins. That makes even the worst days better than just okay.

So let’s celebrate him today! Let’s thank him. Let’s look for the good things and point them out to each other. Because in all things, our God is good!

HERO TRAINING

Get outside! What is something you see that you love? Draw a picture of it. As you do, remember that God made that for you. Celebrate as you thank him!

GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD

Scientists believe there are 400,000 kinds of flowers and they know of 900,000 kinds of insects. That’s a lot of cool stuff God made for us to celebrate!
