A Child's Guide To: Knowing the God of the UniverseExemplo
God's Army
If you have to go to war, you may find yourselves facing an enemy army that is bigger than yours and that has horses and chariots. But don’t be afraid! The Lord your God rescued you from Egypt, and he will help you fight.
Deuteronomy 20:1 (CEV)
Imagine the most powerful army you can think of. What is it like?
Now think about God’s power! In today’s verse, God’s people were told not to be afraid of armies that were bigger than theirs because God would be with them and fight for them. The Bible has stories of God using lots of strange things to help during battles, like trees and seas and storms.
God is bigger and more powerful than any human army. When he moves, the earth shakes with earthquakes. Nothing is too hard for God!
When things in life are hard, God can help you fight, because he is always with you and is so strong.
What scares you? Remember God is so much stronger than any bad thing. He watches over you.
HERO TRAINING
God can help you face the tough days in life. You can trust him. Draw a picture of an army and as you do thank God for his power that works through you!
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
A lion’s roar can be as loud as a rock concert. Jesus is sometimes compared to a lion. Imagine his roar!
