A Child's Guide To: Knowing the God of the UniverseExemplo
Just Talk!
Ask me, and I will tell you things that you don’t know and can’t find out.
Jeremiah 33:3 (CEV)
If you wanted to talk to the president of the United States, you would have a hard time finding a way to do it. The President is usually too busy to meet with kids. A president has lots of things to do since they are the leader of a whole country!
So you might wonder, If God is busy running the whole universe, can I talk to him? Absolutely! God is never too busy for you. He promises to hear your prayers and be with you always.
How do you know he is with you? Sometimes you will hear him through a thought in your head. Sometimes you will feel joy and peace, even when there’s no reason to be happy. Sometimes you will read your Bible and know he is there.
God loves you and wants to talk to you every, single day.
He wants to teach you things and help you. You can ask him any questions that you have. You don’t need a phone or a special meeting. Just talk!
HERO TRAINING
You don’t need a phone to talk to God! But imagine you could give him a call like you do a grandparent. What would you say or ask him?
GOD'S WONDERFUL WORLD
Squirrels talk to each other using special sounds. One sound is a warning of danger up above (like a hawk in the sky). A different sound is a warning of danger on the ground (like a hungry coyote).
