Are you faced with a decision?

"Should I? Should I not? Oh man, I don't know... but I have to make a decision now!"

We all end up in situations like this where we need an immediate solution. You’ve probably experienced that too.

This happened to me again recently when I suddenly had problems with my ear. It was a form of tinnitus. However, I had agreed to do a smaller performance in front of confirmation candidates and now I didn't know if I should cancel or not. Of course health comes first.

Still, there was something in my heart that said to me, “Pray over it, Déborah.” I did that before I opened my devotional book, and there I looked directly at the following verse of the day:

“And God said, ‘I will be with you…’” (Exodus 3:12 NIV)

First of all: Wow! That's clear.

But, what usually happens in such MIRACLE-filled moments? Exactly. The doubts come right back! “Ha ha, Déborah, you're telling yourself that. It's a coincidence.”

But what just happened? I prayed. And what does the Word of God say about prayer?

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you." (Jeremiah 29:12 NIV) When you pray, God will hear—and answer.

You will know that God is not likely to call down from heaven with a loud voice: “Today you should do this and that, and not do the other."

That's why you should pray and then BELIEVE what God tells or shows you through the Bible. Just as He says in Mark 5, “Jesus told him, ‘Don’t be afraid; just believe.’” (Mark 5:36 NIV)

As you consciously slam the door on the doubts, God will open up a new dimension of faith for you!

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24 NIV) Ask God today to help you do the right thing, and then act—without a doubt—on the answer He will give you!

You are a miracle!
