Your Life JourneyExemplo
Where have you landed?
"Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome aboard our flight heading to..." So, where would you like to be flying to right now?
Perhaps you've already been on vacation this season, but maybe your holiday plans for this year have fallen through.
As a flight attendant, I used to love joking with the passengers. For example, I'd say something like, "Dear ladies and gentlemen, shortly we will be landing in London," when they were on their way to Barcelona. Haha.
But, what do you do when your, let's call it your "life flight," actually lands somewhere different than you expected? When you'd love to go on vacation, but it's just not possible. Or even worse, you find yourself at a point in life you never wanted to land.
May I share something from my time as a flight attendant with you?
Every morning, we would meet with the captain for a briefing. Here, he would inform us, for example, that the flight might get bumpy, or there could be severe turbulence ahead. He would ask us to remain seated with seatbelts fastened at that moment. And with confidence and a smile, he'd say, "But don't worry; I'll get you through it easily."
In the same way, I want to encourage you today that the captain of your life—God—will safely guide you through this time! Can you see Him smiling right now and saying, "Don't worry, I'll get you through it. Just stay seated calmly."
All YOU have to do is meet with your captain—God—for the briefing today and remember the truth, which is:
"God is faithful; He will not allow you to be tested beyond what you can bear. But when He tests you, He will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV)
You may not be where you'd like to be right now,
but you can be sure that God is with you right where you are!
You are a miracle!
