God Calls You to Climb the MountainExemplo
The Second Time God Speaks to Abram
The second time God speaks to Abram occurs after he and Lot separate, and Abram decides to dwell in the plains of Canaan. In Genesis 13:14-17, God reaffirms His promise to Abram: "Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto you."
God reiterates the promise to give the land to Abram and his descendants, even when the circumstances around him do not seem promising. Abram was in a foreign land, without any heirs of his own and surrounded by powerful peoples. Yet, God continues to promise that the land will be his. This reaffirmation is important because, in times of uncertainty and waiting, we can easily forget what God has promised.
Sometimes, when we face challenges or when the fulfillment of God's promise seems distant, God speaks to us again, reaffirming His promises. He reminds us that His words are true and that we can trust Him, even when the evidence around us seems contrary.
Reflection Question:
Is there a promise from God that you feel needs to be reaffirmed in your life today? How can you remember that promise in times of doubt?

Abraham was called to leave his land and trust in God's promises, even when everything seemed uncertain. His faith was tested, and he climbed the mountain with his son, believing in divine provision. God also calls us to journeys of faith and trust, where only He and we walk together. Trust in His promise.
