Embrace Your Season Of Life

Life is made up of seasons, or stages. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” Just as there are seasons for planting and others for harvesting, or specific seasons for certain types of fruit and vegetables, so are there seasons of life suited for particular experiences.

The church is made up of people from all stages of life. Children, teenagers, young adults, middle-aged adults and senior citizens are all important to God and to the ministry of the gospel. The church is a kaleidoscope of life’s seasons.

However old you may be, you are in the middle of a season of life. And that season should not be wasted. There are lessons and adventures that God has in store for you in every season of your existence. God desires to be as involved in your life when you are a child as He does when you are a senior citizen.

The various seasons of life are very different from one another. Each season has a unique set of experiences, joys and trials, but what all of life’s stages have in common is that God designed them to be special opportunities for you to grow in an ever-increasing knowledge of who He is! So choose to embrace the season of life you are in right now as a gift from God!

Prayer for the day:

Today, thank God for the season of life you are in, and pray that you will be able to use your unique experiences in order to minister to others. Also, pray that you will learn from those who are in seasons of life different from your own.
