Restored!Sample

The Choice We All Must Make
We will never experience restoration without making a decision to completely abandon our former life of sin. We must make a choice. Do we really want the salvation, forgiveness, healing, and restoration that Jesus promises or do we want to continue to wallow in the muck and mire of this world? The two are incompatible.
Sounds like an easy decision, right? Sure it is! But it’s a decision that we will be required to make over and over and over again. This is why Paul exhorts the Galatians to “Stand Firm!” We must continually opt out of sin and bondage and choose the freedom we have in Jesus Christ.
We all sin and we will never be absolutely perfected until Christ returns, but until that day, we must arm ourselves with the truth that sin has no mastery over us. We are not subject to its power. We have been set free through Christ, and we can overcome every temptation. So stand firm! A.W. Tozer once wrote, "Most Christians want a thrill or joy, but do not want holiness or the purity of a Spirit-filled life." May that never be true of us! Never settle for less than God’s best for your life!
PRAYER
Jesus, thank you so much for setting me free. Help me, now, to consistently walk in that freedom and to take a stand against anything the devil would use to ensnare me into that old life of bondage. I declare that I am free in Jesus Christ. I am an overcomer! I am more than a conqueror! Amen.

About this Plan

All you were meant to be - your hopes, your dreams, your deepest desires - are found in the person of Jesus Christ. In this study, you will learn what God's word reveals about God's plans and purposes for restoring you to the person that He intended you to be. As you increase your understanding, you will grow in your ability to cooperate with what He desires to do in your life.
