The Victories Of Christ For The Believer Sample
Victory in Spiritual Warfare
What does "blood of the lamb" mean? It is not a mantra or magical phrase that believers use to scare the demons. The Scripture clearly indicates that without Christ’s bloodshed, there is no forgiveness of sin. His blood is the reason we can be free from sin.
Christ’s blood dignified us. Our strength is in our faith, we need to develop strong minds to overcome the enemy. We overcome Satan through our deposited faith in knowing that the blood of Christ cleanses our sins. And we are worthy, not due to our own efforts, but because Christ dignified us on the cross. It is a victory over Satan.
Paul said that we should strengthen ourselves in the power of Christ’s strength to withstand the snares of the enemy. Nevertheless, I see many people in church pretty much praising Satan, saying Satan is astute, speaking more of Satan than the victories Christ overcame on the cross. We cannot give credit to someone who has been defeated on the cross, nor can we underestimate the victorious work of Christ on the cross. We have victory over every trick, snare, or plan of the enemy.
Yes, we need to be firm against any attack Satan has on us, but there is victory. It is necessary to resist on a bad day. What is a bad day? It is those days when things don’t go well, and we sense the attacks of the enemy. We have victory on those bad days because of the work Christ did on the cross and the power that operates within us to shoot down any type of attack of the enemy. So, when things go bad, stay firm, to extinguish blazing darts of the enemy, even when we struggle with thoughts or ideas that cross our minds. We are victorious over Satan and any blazing dart aimed our way. The expression “blazing dart” is an allusion of flaming arrows thrown to burn us. The enemy through his plans tries to diminish our faith, but we have victory over doubt, over Satan, over any speculation that he wants to plan – and victory over temptation.
We are more than conquerors through the One who loves us. We are more than conquerors because now that we are in His domain we have access to a supernatural power that allows us to overcome Satan and any plan He has over us. For now, let’s not pay attention to Satan’s accusations but to the blood Christ shed on the cross. And anytime Satan has an accusation against you, let’s take out our red card, the blood of Jesus. Every time a negative thought of the enemy enters our minds, we can proclaim the blood of Jesus.

About this Plan
In this nine-day devotional, we will emphasize the Victories of Christ in three core pillars: 1) victory over eternal death, 2) victory over Satan, and 3) victory over the slavery of sin. Many times we find ourselves trying to fight a battle that Christ already won on the cross; thus, it’s necessary to know the victory that He has given us.
