Maybe you didn’t mean for it to turn into a war, but by the end of it, feelings were hurt, and the relationship was damaged. We’ve all been there! But the good news is that the Bible tells us that we can actually avoid or heal from situations like that simply by speaking with gentleness. So here’s a tip: The next time you find yourself in an argument, tell the other person how much you care about them before you respond to them. You’ll be surprised at how a little gentleness in your tone and words will change the outcome of the situation.
