Daily Devotions With Jonathan FalwellSample

Have you known someone that seems to celebrate when a fellow believer falls?
We've often heard it said that Christians love to shoot their own. It seems like Christians are often the first ones to start throwing stones at people, talking about how they blew it and celebrating the fact that a Christian has fallen because of sin. Nothing could be further from God's plan and God's design for us as Christ followers. Brothers and sisters, we have no right to behave this way. It is not our place. I firmly believe that it is actually sin when we do. The Bible tells us very clearly that our responsibility is to pray for one another. We are not to criticize, talk about or hurt one another. Our job is to help restore them. We are to "gently and humbly help that person back to Christ." We have the duty to be active participants in restoration, not destruction.
