The Lion RoarsSample
The Wages Of Sin
“It’s not fair”. We hear it from our children. We say it ourselves. Sometimes we say it out of compassion for someone else. And sometimes – just sometimes – we have the courage to admit that we ourselves occasionally benefit from injustice, deception, and oppression.
God loves justice. He will one day judge the world and repay everyone for the wrong we have done. This is why we need Jesus. On the cross, He took our judgment on our behalf. And once we put our trust in Jesus, we can fearlessly admit our faults, forgive others, and cultivate truth and justice in our lives, the lives of those around us, and the world.
Think of someone you know you’ve hurt. Meet with them sometime this week. Apologise to them and ask them to forgive you. If you think the encounter will be traumatic, take a church leader, or some other mature Christian friend, along to help you.

About this Plan
Read through the book of Amos, which highlights the faithlessness, stubbornness and oppressiveness of God’s chosen people. In the end, take encouragement from God’s promise of future restoration for his people.
