UnderestimatedSample

How many times even this week has a teacher, parent, coach, or even your small group leader said something you knew was a good idea? Something you knew you should probably do at the time, but then completely forgot just a few minutes later? Maybe they told you to study, but you didn’t, and so you missed out on your A. Maybe your coach made some tweaks to your swing, but you didn’t put them into play and struck out. The point is clear: Unless you act on what you heard, you will miss out on the benefits. It’s easy to do this with what God tells us as well. Knowing something is good in our minds is not the same as actually acting on that good thing. Memorize this verse this week so you are reminded of the benefits of acting on God’s word.
