Every single person who has ever, is currently, and who will ever live is made in the image of God. Everybody means everybody. 

It doesn’t matter where they live, how much money they have, how educated they are, what color their skin is, what political party they side with, or how you feel about them. Every single person is created in the image of God.

That means they have inherent value and worth. They have dignity.

We give respect because God says they are worthy of love and respect.

If God says they are worthy of love and respect, who are we to hold that back from them? To withhold respect from someone is to say that you know better than God.

Are there some people in your life that you have a hard time viewing as people made in the image of God? How does understanding that every person is made in the image of God change how you view respect?
