"Sexodus" Relationships DevotionalSample
Unprepared
Solomon - the wisest man ever, according to the Bible - gives us some sage advice here. Until we're ready for a relationship that can handle sex, emotional intimacy, and the rest of what a relationship has to offer, we ought to limit a few things: we should limit our time together, our talk, and our touch. Until we're prepared to take on the sacrifice, endurance, and commitment that is necessary, we should wait to 'awaken love' as Solomon puts it.
If you're in a relationship, consider if you're at levels of these three things that maybe you shouldn't be - they'll create more stress than they will joy in these cases.
