21 Days to Connect: Anchoring Your College Life Week 1Sample

Are you ready for a fight? That could happen if you go out and hit the bars tonight but that’s not the kind of fight we’re talking about. We’re talking about a fight for your faith. If you have made a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, our enemy would like nothing better than to knock you out while you are in college. Paul warned young Timothy to fight by pursuing those qualities listed in verse 11. You have to decide whether you are going to get in the fight or turn tail and run away from the challenges of faith in Jesus, now that you are in college and free. College can be a great time to grab hold of all that comes with eternal life in Jesus. But it won’t come easily! You must fight for it daily!
“Jesus I want to be a man or woman of God. I want my life to be one of righteousness, godliness, faith, love, and gentleness. I want to endure to the end. I want my life to be an example of my confession of faith in you every day of my life!”
Scripture
About this Plan

The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry, and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus.
