21 Days to Connect: Anchoring Your College Life Week 1Sample
Have you ever been in a new place and wake up in the dark and then try to navigate your way to the door without turning on the light? That might have been your experience when you moved in on campus. In your old room, everything was familiar. You knew where all the junk was, but now you grab your phone so you don’t crash into something. Having a light is most often preferred over stumbling through the darkness without one. Solomon asked God for wisdom and God gave it to him. As a young king, he realized the advantage having wisdom gave him. Wisdom in your life can give you a distinct advantage over your peers. Wisdom is not dependent on years but in how you live those years. It is possible to be both young and wise and it is possible to grow old and remain in folly. You can gain knowledge by going to class today and you can gain wisdom by going to God today!
“God would you grant me wisdom today! Would you help me walk in the light of your Word today as I continue to experience new things in my college life? I don’t want to walk in the dark and foolish ways of the world, but to dwell in the safety and security of your marvelous light.”

About this Plan
The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry, and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus.
