21 Days to Connect: Anchoring Your College Life Week 1Sample

Sometimes it only takes one silly decision to change a life forever. I know that’s a tough statement to read, but it’s true. “I didn’t think it would happen to me” is a common phrase uttered after a tragic consequence to a simple choice. Many times those mistakes don’t have severe outcomes. You may even think you got away with it, but the truth is a little folly outweighs wisdom and honor. What you worked for your whole life can be tossed away in a moment of giving in to temptation. We all make mistakes, it’s true, but a fool goes looking for them repeatedly. Choose to do the right thing today!
“Lord, I don’t want to be a fool today. I want to do the right things for the right reasons. Guard my reputation and may your Holy Spirit lead me away from the temptations and give me the strength to stand against them today. Help me retain the integrity and wisdom that will bring honor to your name today!”

About this Plan

The college years can be an awesome time in a person's life. They can also be a time when believers drift from their faith. The difference is often whether one gets connected to other believers, a campus ministry, and a local church. This plan will help you explore what God's Word says about getting connected on your campus.
