SOAP – Romans 5:2
Paul states that it is only because of God's grace that we are saved. But it is also God's grace that we are made new creations at the time of salvation. We are brand new. A new creation filled with the Spirit of God. We are transformed into God's child. Filled with God: God's love, God's peace, God's spiritual gifts, God's desires, God's mission. We are His masterpiece created for a purpose and mission elevated much higher than ourselves. Everything that we have been through in life (our loves, our losses, our heartbreaks, our successes, our failures, our insecurities) have all led to our union with Him.

Do you take your access to God for granted? What accomplishments do you boast about that truly are God’s accomplishments through you and His gifts to you?Will you begin to thank God daily for His gifts and continued presence in your life?

Father God, I thank You that I am not the same person that I was before You. I thank You that You and I were destined to be together. Empower me, Lord, with Your mission; free of fear, free of insecurity, free of doubt. Remind me Lord that anything and everything good in my life is solely because of You. I thank You that Your measure of success is not the same as mine. Remind me each day that You have not called me to be successful, comfortable, prosperous, or even outstanding; You have called me only to be faithful. In Jesus' name. Amen
