Bible 2020 The Mission to the WorldSample

The Mission to the World Day 19 of 20
Do we know that we have been chosen? In a world that often overlooks us and ignores us, God has chosen us, “to stand in his presence, to minister to him”. These words were spoken to the Levites (the tribe of Israel chosen to be priests before God) by good king Hezekiah, when he was rededicating the temple, which – along with the people’s worship - had fallen into disrepair. How is our worship and service of God today? Are we diligently – and joyfully- giving ourselves to God’s call upon our lives?

About this Plan

Beginning with God’s covenants with Noah, Abram and David, these readings explore God’s ongoing mission to restore his broken creation, drawing people back to himself. God’s mission finds its fulfillment in the person and work of Jesus Christ, a mission which the church continues today. Be part of a global movement changing the world around you by reading the Bible aloud for one minute every day.
