Trusting in the Lord with all that we are requires us to fully surrender our understanding to Him. We are reminded here that in all of our plans, we must make it our purpose to recognize and accept God’s authority. In this, He will make our paths straight! A warning follows these passages, cautioning us to not allow anything that is displeasing to God or that hinders our spiritual growth close to our heart. We must keep our heart and guard what we speak out, watch, listen to and think about.
