River Valley Church SOAP - Part 10Sample
When broad communication needed to occur, letters were frequently used; however when it came to sensitive governmental, military, commerce, and personal information, often messengers were utilized. A wicked messenger would be someone who did not deliver the information, lost it, or changed the message intentionally or unintentionally. Teaching children to honor and obey their parents was a critical desire according to the culture of this era. Children who were found wandering in life were labeled as rebellious. The author describes the "Fear of the Lord" as a fountain; involving our emotions of fear, love, and trust, motivating us to the right behavior, even when moral repercussions do not exist.
Cambodian children are the target of forced labor, human trafficking and sex slavery. Let's pray for their protection and deliverance.
