River Valley Church Soap - Part 12Sample

Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a high mountain where he is transfigured before them, and his true nature is revealed. He continues to perform miracles and further predicts his death. Jesus makes a triumphant entry into the city of Jerusalem. On his journey he curses a fig tree for lack of fruit. We see the clearing of sinful activities in the temple courts which did not sit well with the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and after this they began looking for a way to kill him. Jesus's authority comes into question by the chief priests, teachers of the law, and elders.
Global Prayer Focus:
The country of Sri Lanka just emerged from a civil war that spanned nearly three decades, waged over ethnic and religious differences. Let's pray for physical and emotional healing for the people of this country and that the Lord will bring authentic reconciliation in Jesus's name.
