River Valley Church Soap - Part 12Sample

The Gospel of Mark focuses most on the adult life of Jesus, mainly on his life and ministry. Mark starts with the story of John the Baptist, who baptized people in the Jordan River. John tells people of the coming of a man who will be much more powerful than himself, saying that this man will baptize them with the Holy Spirit, rather than water alone. Jesus began preaching and performing miracles. During this time there was a man who suffered from paralysis who was brought to Jesus.
Global Prayer Focus:
Afghanistan needs missionaries. With a 99.7% Muslim majority, the people are in desperate need of a savior. Let's pray that God would send workers to Afghanistan who are filled with the Spirit to be bold and strategic in sharing the gospel.
