River Valley Church Soap - Part 12Sample

Luke, who is noted as a beloved physician, wrote this Gospel to the Gentiles as a full and accurate record of Jesus’s teachings before leaving this earth. He wanted Gentiles to know the exact truth and often stressed the universal scope of the gospel. This book begins with a thorough account of events surrounding the birth of both John the Baptist and Jesus. As we read further, Luke provides one of the only glimpses into Jesus’s boyhood after his birth in Nazareth.
Global Prayer Focus:
The Christians of Afghanistan are under constant persecution and harassment. Let's pray that they would be filled with courage, boldness, and perseverance to continue on in the faith.
