River Valley Church Soap - Part 12Sample
Malachi was a prophet who wrote this book around 100 years after the Israelites came back after the exile. The temple was rebuilt, but there was a new generation that lived in disobedience to God, just like their ancestors did before the exile. There are six disputes that God has with the people of Israel, and it starts with God speaking and the Israelites responding. It ends with a concluding appendix of the Torah and the prophets and God saying that a new Moses and Elijah will come to restore God’s people.
Global Prayer Focus:
Today, Jordan is experiencing a time of religious freedom, but the enemy is pressing in and challenging that with the country's Muslim majority. Let's pray that this freedom would continue despite the pressure and that people would come to know Jesus through the radiant spirituality of believers.
