WHO ARE YOU?Sample
When Marie Antoinette, queen of France, heard the desperate cries of the poor for bread, she is alleged to have replied with the clueless comment, “Let them eat cake.”
The reality is, bread can determine whether you live or die. When the Hebrew people were wandering in the desert for 40 years, they would have perished if God hadn’t provided them bread (in the form of “manna”) from heaven.
In the first “I am” statement made by Jesus in John’s Gospel, he says, “I am the bread of life.”
Jesus makes the point that just as the Father saved his people by giving them bread in the desert, so God sent Jesus to save us. As such, Jesus is “the bread of life.”
There are many things being touted today as “must haves” that are not actually nutritious. They don’t build you up or make you alive to your identity, destiny or meaning. So, let Jesus give you life; life in all its fullness.
Prayer
Loving Father, I want to thank you with every fibre of my being for your grace that called me into being, and for the grace you’ve shown in feeding me with spiritual life. You have made this available through your son, Jesus, and I’m grateful beyond what words can say.

About this Plan
Jesus asked the question: “Who do people say that I am?” (Mark 8:7) Our entire life and destiny hinges on the answer. So, let’s look at the seven “I am” sayings of Jesus – and then explore their implications for us, through the “you are” statements in the New Testament.
