River Valley Church New Testament Soap Sprint Sample

The book of Romans is the longest and arguably the most influential letter out of Paul's 13 New Testament epistles. The church in Rome was most likely established by believers from Macedonia and Asia, whom Paul had introduced to the faith. The theme of the letter is quickly introduced: faith in Christ’s redemptive sacrifice on our behalf, not adherence to the Mosaic law, is the only power that can bring any person into right standing with God. Paul reaffirms a release from the law through the salvation available under Jesus Christ's name, and shifts focus to the freedom of living life in the Spirit, no longer bound by sin.
