Change: Coping & Embracing Life’s ChallengesSample

Day 2: How Are You Dealing With CHANGE?
Whatever the change might be, how are you responding and reacting to it emotionally? You might be short, angry, unresponsive, aggressive, distant or removed emotionally and physically. You may have also picked up bad habits to deal and cope with changes in your life.
Are your emotions leaking in any way towards people in your lives? In 1 Samuel 18, Saul observes that David is receiving greater attention and praise after defeating Goliath. And this change in people’s view of Saul makes him angry he and tries to harm David in return. But there is a better way for followers of Jesus. We can ask Him to forgive and heal us of our bad ways of navigating change. We can lean into the power of the Holy Spirit to both encourage and strengthen us for the road ahead!
PRAYER:
God, I ask for your grace and wisdom with the way I feel and deal with the change in my life.
NEXT STEP:
If your behavior and attitudes were not in line with the way of Jesus toward someone, follow up with that person and apologize..
