DAY 17 OF 21

These verses are really not difficult to understand but it doesn't mean that they are easy to obey!!  Let's chat through it bit by bit... and to make it very real, we are going to be really honest and prayerful.

"Do not be angry with each other..."  When was the last time you were angry? Who was the last person that made you angry?  Write down that name, or draw a picture of them.

…but forgive each other. If someone does wrong to you, then forgive him. Forgive each other because the Lord forgave you.” Can you remember the name of the person that made you angry? Have you forgiven him? Forgiveness can sometimes be difficult. Sometimes we still feel hurt by that person. Read the second part of this verse again… we forgive because the Lord forgave us.

Today is WitnessDay.

Instead of witnessing today – which is telling a person about Jesus, I want you to be really brave today. You are going to go to a person you know that loves Jesus, like your Mom and Dad. You are going to tell them the name of this person that you still have to forgive and you are going to ask them to pray with you. Ask Jesus to help you to forgive this person even if you are still hurting. Ask Jesus to help you forgive because He forgave us, not because the person deserves it.
