A world-changing idea

I wonder if this has ever happened to you, you’re spending some time with friends and one of you comes up with a ”million-dollar idea” or a “million-dollar invention” that will change the world. At this point, another friend jumps in saying something like: ‘You have to do this! You would clean up!’ But have you noticed, that nothing ever gets done, and that “million-dollar idea” still hasn’t earnt a dollar? It's because although the task appears simplistic, it's always more complex than everyone thinks and the reality is nobody knows how to navigate those complexities. As a result, the idea stays in the idea phase and never makes it to reality. When it comes to Jesus' idea for saving the world, he didn’t make it complicated or unattainable, he made it very simple.  Jesus gave us 4 easy steps for his world-changing idea: Go, Make, Baptise and Teach [Matt 28:16-20]. Go and find someone, Help make them into a Disciple, lead them towards baptism and then teach them what you know. 

If it's so easy, why don't more people do it? That's because they don't think they have what it takes. The reality is, there is something in you that Jesus wants to bring out into the environments that you find yourself in. [Matt 5:15]. Although you might not feel like you know a lot, the reality is, you know enough to save someone’s eternity, you know Jesus! So what would happen if you opened yourself up to be used by Jesus for His Kingdom? Who could be saved?

PRAYER

Jesus, thank You that You have given me an understanding of who You are. I pray that You will use me to impact Your Kingdom and draw people closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
