WHO DO I TURN TO? 

Now, you may well ask, who do I turn to? In this season fellowship and connection with likeminded people will be paramount to your growth in Christ. We are created for community and being alone was never God’s intention for mankind. 

Psalms 1 teaches us to purposefully build Godly friendships. Choosing your friends is one of the great privileges in life, and it will take wisdom to do so. Surrounding yourself with other believers will edify you for the journey ahead. As you begin reading the Word of God you will learn that iron and sharpens iron.

Next, you will need people who are perhaps further along on the journey. Godly leaders are given by God to guide you in both the good times and the bad. Their life experience and knowledge of scripture will be beneficial to your growth through Godly counsel. Scripture tells us that we are to submit to those in authority, for they care for our souls. Having leaders who care for you and continually point you to Jesus will expedite your spiritual journey. You may not realise this yet, but this will be invaluable to your story. 

There is a place for everyone and it’s so important that everyone finds their place. The local church is the hope of the world, and being part of a Godly community that regularly come together should be desired and prioritised. You can lean on the local church especially now, it’s a safe house, a place you can belong while you become. 

As you embrace Godly friendships, leadership, and community you will find stability, confidence, and establish strong connections that will propel you into your God-given future and destiny. 

PRAYER

Lord, thank you that you are establishing in my life Godly friendships, leadership, and community. I submit to this process and trust that you will cause me to grow, both in You and alongside others. Amen.
