The Process of God

This is the world we have become accustomed to: we get what we want, where we want, whenever we want. In your walk with Jesus, don’t be surprised when Jesus slows your pace down just a bit. You need the process of God.    

Remember, we are following the story of Jesus and the blind man in Mark 8. This time around, we are looking for signs of the process that Jesus follows with the blind man. What can we learn about the process that Jesus follows with all of us? Let’s focus for one minute on the fact that Jesus takes time to heal this man. 

He could have healed him by just saying the word. But he touched his eyes twice. He took him through a process. The reason could also be that Jesus taught His disciples something about our spiritual eyes being healed to see what He wants to show us in His kingdom. 

God can work in an instant in your life, but He also works through a process. He is on a lifelong journey with you and wants you to trust Him. 

This Scripture reminds us that Jesus is the beginning and the end of our faith journey. When our journey started, Jesus was there, and whenever it ends, He will be there too! 

The world tells us that they do not need God, because they feel that He does not act quickly enough. Or that He does not act at all. This is not true when you understand something about His process.

Trust Him.
