A VICTORIOUS LIFE
READ
“Plant your feet firmly therefore within the freedom that Christ has won for us, and do not let yourselves be caught again in the shackles of slavery.”—Galatians 5:1 (PHILLIPS)
REFLECT
Christ has won our freedom! We can live this life knowing He’s victorious—and we’re invited into that victory.
Are there any areas of your life where you feel burdened by sinful thoughts, temptations, or struggles? Today, as you seek to walk more firmly in the power of the gospel and the freedom of Christ, lift those up to the Lord in confession and prayer. What would it look like to walk in His victory in that area? Remember that to walk in victory and freedom you must keep moving forward with Christ and the community He’s surrounded you with.
PRAY
Lord Jesus, our Savior and King, I thank You for the life You lived, the death You died on my behalf, and the victory You won through Your resurrection. I thank You for calling me, saving me, and restoring me. Today, Lord, I pray You would help me plant my feet firmly in the freedom You won and keep my eyes fixed on You. Amen.
FOR THE FAMILY
DISCUSS
- Have you ever lost your balance? Why does planting your feet firmly help you not to fall?
- How can you plant your feet firmly in Jesus today?
PRAY
Lord Jesus, You are our Savior and King! You secured us freedom from sin and gave us life, forgiveness, hope, and peace. I thank You for the life You lived, the death You died, and the victory You won through Your resurrection for everyone. Today, Lord, I pray You would help me plant my feet firmly with You. I want to live in Your victory. Amen.

About this Plan
Take a 21-day journey of prayer and fasting with us. Why a fast? Because in it, we have this amazing opportunity to grow closer to Jesus and know Him more deeply as we seek freedom, breakthrough, and guidance! In this plan, we'll have the opportunity to read Scripture and a devotional, meditate on a reflective prompt, and pray.
