Parents and Kids Daily Devotional "This Is Living"Sample

Woohoo! It’s the last day of this devotion. Let’s recap what we have learned so far.
We learned that as followers of God, we need to have a lifestyle that reflects who God is. Our life is a display of the image of God that everyone else sees. So our every word and action should be Christ-like.
First, we have to live in the Truth. We must speak what is right even if no one else is doing it. We are to be courageous to do what is right wherever we are. We must hold on to the principles of the Word of God every day.
Secondly, we must live with integrity. What we do on the outside, where everyone is looking should be the same as what we do when we are alone. There should be no lies so that we can be trustworthy.
Thirdly, live well because He has risen! Jesus has died and risen again, for you and for me. His resurrection transforms life. We are now people with hope. We are God’s witnesses. Our life has changed.
Last but not least, live and forgive. Jesus died to grace us with His forgiveness. Now, it is our turn to forgive those who have hurt us. Bring as many people as possible to receive His true forgiveness.
Are you ready to be the children of Light? Let’s go!
Devotion for Parents
We know that our lives are a reflection of God’s image. However, it is easier said than done. So many challenges along the way that may trip us and make us fall. But God is always ready to help us go back up.
In which aspects of your life do you need His help to live as His witness? Pray together with your children and ask for His help.

About this Plan

After we accept Jesus as God and Savior, our lives will change and our character will be renewed to become more and more like Him every day. What kind of life should followers of Christ have? What values do we need to hold? During this month we will invite the children to learn about this and teach them the values of truth that they should have in their lives.
