21-Day Devotional for Christian WritersSample

This is surely one of the most reassuring verses in the Bible. It is a reminder that God has ordained a time and a season for certain periods of our lives and nobody can mess with His plan. What a comfort.
So, you haven't written in a while. You've lost your confidence. You wonder if you haven't gotten ahead of yourself with this 'writing thing.' Take it easy on yourself. Remember, it's only for a while. A season.
So you never heard from the 'literary agent' again. It's okay. Remember: There’s a "time to weep and a time to laugh."
So your computer broke down, wiping off all your blood and sweat stained work. Relax. There is a "time to mourn and a time to dance." It's certainly not the time to berate yourself for not saving your stuff on an external drive. You've learnt your lesson. Smile. Laugh. God is in control.
You are not just a writer but God's own scribe. Whatever your season, give it over to God. He's the one with the Master Plan.
