Whose voice would you recognize instantly? Do you have a friend or family member that you would know who it is right away if you heard their voice in a crowded place?

Jesus talks about us being like sheep, and He is the shepherd. Sheep know the voice of the shepherd. To know God’s voice we can pray, read His Word, listen for Him and grow to know Him more. You might not hear God’s voice loud and booming; God might speak to your heart through His Word, when you’re praying, or even when you’re sleeping. God might put a picture in your mind, a word in your heart, or He might send someone to pray for you or tell you His message. When God speaks are you listening and do you hear His voice? To stand firm we need to know the voice of God. God’s voice will lead us and show us the way. God’s voice will comfort us and keep us on track. God’s voice will steady us in the midst of any storm.
