Daniel - Standing FirmSample

When you’re on a journey or are in an unfamiliar place, you look for signposts to point you in the right direction. A signpost stands firm and points out which way to go. When we stand firm, we are like a signpost that points others to God and shows them THE WAY, Jesus.
The way we stand firm on our faith, obey God, and never give up following Him, points others to Him. How we treat others and how we show God’s love, points people to Him. Daniel stood firm on God. Daniel's life and the words he spoke pointed others to God. When they saw what God did for Daniel and heard the messages God spoke through Daniel, they knew God was the one true God. Jesus says that when we know Him, we will listen for His voice. Remember our friend Daniel, he spent his life in prayer and worship. He knew his heavenly Father’s voice. Daniel was a prophet, that means he heard God’s voice and spoke God’s message to people. God wants to speak to us all the time. When God speaks to us, either to our hearts or from His Word, it can sometimes be a challenge to do what He says but stand firm and remember that He is with us every step of the way. Stand firm and hear from God.
