Even though Jesus restores and rescues everyone, what it looks like in your life — how he is healing you — is yours alone. How the good news of Jesus is transforming your life is your story alone to share.

In Mark 4, Jesus tells his followers what they should do with the story God has given them. He compares it to light. He says if you have a light, it would be silly to light it and then keep it concealed in a dark place. So, he says you take that light and put it on a high stand so it can do what it was designed to do.

God's Spirit is active and changing your life, and when you share how God is making you more like Jesus, it is a light in dark places. Your story is still being written, so the ways God transforms you are limitless. So go ahead and light up the world with the stories of how God is changing your life.
