Insects are everywhere. They may look small but some of them can cause huge problems!

A mosquito is very tiny, but one of those could completely ruin your day. Ouch! If you’re bitten by a mosquito you might have a few days of itching and scratching.

Tiny leafcutter ants can lift and carry something 50 times their own body weight in their jaw. That’s the same as a human lifting a truck with their teeth! These guys can also ruin a very nice picnic and if they bite someone the pain is really bad.

The termite is even smaller than both the mosquito and the leafcutter ant, but the damage it can cause is huge. A group of termites can eat away at the foundations of a house and bring it to complete ruin.

These three insects are very small, but they are very powerful, and that’s how God has made them.

Sometimes children can feel like they’re too small to do important things for God, but remember you are created by God, exactly how you are. He has a plan and purpose for your life. Even though you’re small, it doesn’t mean you can’t do amazing things. Look at the story of the little boy’s lunch. He had five loaves and two fish but he offered them to Jesus, and Jesus used it to bring about one of the world’s most talked about miracles.

Remember, you don’t have to be older, and you don’t have to be the best, smartest, or funniest person ever; just be who you are and God can use you for His glory. Go for it, God is with you.
