Planted and FlourishingSample

The best thing you can drink is water. It keeps your body hydrated and functioning at its best. How much water do you need for just one week? Is one spoonful of water enough? What about a glass full of water? How about a whole water bottle?
One bottle of water isn’t enough even for one day, let alone a week! What would be even better than all three of those options is a hose or a tap - something that gives us water all the time, whenever we need it. But it’s not the hose or the tap that is important but what it’s connected to - the water source.
Life is so much easier when you are connected to the source. If you needed to fill a swimming pool with water, it would take weeks of carrying water in a bucket, one by one, to fill it up, but if you’re connected to the main supply line, you can easily fill up the pool in just a couple of hours. This is also true in our lives when we are connected to Jesus. We could live our lives only occasionally coming to Him, perhaps only when things are bad or when we need His help. But if you only drank water occasionally, when you were thirsty, you’d be dehydrated. To flourish we need to stay connected to the source.
And what is the water source for our lives? Jesus! Drinking from the water source of Jesus gives us life and causes us to flourish! Stay connected to God and Flourish.
